London to Sydney Overland. By Peter Moore

The overland trail from the UK to Australia is one of the world's greatest journeys. Heading east through Europe, Turkey, Iran and the sub continent and then down through south-east Asia, it offers fabled lands, hidden cultures, and challenges on a daily basis. First blazed by the Hippies in the 60's - the trail has never been easy. Peter Moore did the trip for his book The Wrong Way Home and can offer you hard-won advice on how to make it happen. Whether you want to do the whole trip - or just parts of it - this talk is for anyone who has found themselves fourteen hours into a twenty-four hour flight to Australia, staring at the map on their screen, wishing they could get off.
