Peter Allison - Safari Guide - the perfect storyteller.

On an island in an oasis deep in Botswana's Kalahari Desert lived a lion whose action changed the lives of hundreds of animals around her. This is a true story from the animal kingdom with all the elements of a classic drama - infidelity, sex, violence, and ultimate redemption. Imagine James Herriot and Sidney Sheldon together and you are on the right track.

Told by safari guide Peter Allison who witnessed and photographed the events over a four year period this is a light-hearted look at life on safari and the animals so many people go to Africa to see.
